Research Areas

My research team focuses on the development of gene-activated scaffold systems for tissue engineering with a particular focus on bone, cartilage and osteoarthritis. In addition, my group also investigate the use of scaffolds as 3D tumour models for development of novel cancer treatments in the areas of breast and prostate cancer as well as neuroblastoma.
