Residential Room Applications for 2023/24 Academic Term
Applications from continuing students for rooms on campus and at Trinity Hall for 2023/24 were taken in February. Portal will re-open for late applications on Tuesday 28th March. Applications for rooms from postgraduate students are open all year long. Further information can be found below in the Continuing Students section.

From time to time rooms become available and are filled from the Waiting List. If you are looking for accommodation now, please submit an application and you will be added to our Waiting List. Students looking for Semester 2 accommodation should note this clearly in their application.
CAMPUS
Front Square & New Square
Newly refurbished ensuite apartments ranging from two to five bedrooms each with a kitchen/living room. In Front Square, apartments with two bedrooms are adapted for universal access. The five bedroomed apartment consists of four singles and one twin room. Network connections and television points (in living room) are available. Central heating.

Botany Bay
Shared apartment with two single bedrooms, living room/kitchen area, shower/toilet. Also, some shared apartments with three single bedrooms, living room/kitchen area, shower/toilet. Network connections and television points available plus central heating.

Graduate Memorial Building
These rooms comprise single study bedrooms with a private bathroom. Network connections and television points are available. There is central heating in the GMB.

Printing House Square
Newly built ensuite rooms ranging from three to eight bedrooms in an apartment, with a shared kitchen/living room. Network connections and television points (in living room) are available. Central heating.

Pearse Street
These rooms comprise single study bedrooms with a private bathroom. Network connections are available, there is no television point, and heating is storage heating. All residents have access to a kitchen.

Business School
Newly refurbished heritage ensuite bedrooms within apartments ranging from two to four bedrooms each with a kitchen/living room. High density WiFi and television points (in living room). Central heating.

GOLDSMITH HALL
Goldsmith Hall
Apartments are mostly four or five bedrooms (there are however a small number of larger apartments), two bathrooms and a kitchen/living room. Network connections and television points (within living room) available. Central heating.

Current Student Full time degree students may apply for a room on campus or at Trinity Hall for the following academic year during the application period; applications open on first Monday of February and remain open for 4 weeks. Generally, undergraduates entering their final year and postgraduates reading for degrees by research will be prioritised for residential accommodation. In addition, a small number of first year students residing at Trinity Hall will be offered rooms for a second year at Trinity Hall. Students studying part-time or diploma courses are not eligible for College accommodation.
Applications from Postgraduate Students open in February and will remain open throughout the year. On campus rooms for PG students are limited, please refer to Allocation Quotas under the FAQ section for more information.
Please note only registered students are granted accommodation and students going off books for whatever reason during the academic year will be required to vacate their rooms
How to Apply Current students who wish to apply for accommodation must make an online application. Please note if application is made after the start of the Academic Year, we advise to consider private accommodation. The application will be added to our Waiting List, but we will only contact the applicant if a vacancy arises.
Trinity has limited accommodation for single members of staff across all locations. The accommodation on Campus and Trinity Hall mainly consists of single bedroom apartments with lounge/kitchen and in private accommodation of single ensuite bedroom and shared kitchen/living room. Connections to the Trinity IT network is provided in all accommodation on Campus. WiFi is provided in private accommodation.
Applications for single staff accommodation may be made on this form which should be returned to the Accommodation Office on campus or emailed to residences@tcd.ie
Room Types
There are a number of single ensuite rooms and single apartments available on the main Campus. At Trinity Hall there are a small number of single apartments available.
Eligibility
The allocation of staff rooms on campus is the responsibility of the Senior Dean. The Warden is responsible for the allocation of rooms at Trinity Hall. In the allocation of accommodation on campus priority is given to Fellows of the College and assistant Junior Deans. Thereafter, accommodation is normally offered to staff moving to Trinity from abroad.

All above must be a Full Degree Full-Time students only where the Degree is being delivered by Trinity. No other cohort is eligible for On Campus accommodation.
