Non-EU students may apply for residential accommodation when they receive an unconditional offer of a place on a course at Trinity.

Only students on full time degree courses may apply for residential accommodation. Students studying part-time or diploma courses are not eligible for accommodation.

Generally, undergraduate non-EU students will be prioritised for accommodation. In some instances, where there are partnerships in place with foreign educational establishments, or where students have been recruited through Trinity’s Global Relations Office, students may be nominated for accommodation by the Global Relations Office.

How to Apply

Students who wish to apply for accommodation must make an online application.

You must set-up the account before being able to log-in. Part of the account set up process involves clicking on a confirmation code that will be included in an email that will be sent to you. Only after you have clicked on the confirmation code will you be able to log in and make an application.

Before making an application it is recommended that you do the following:

  • Consider what is the most appropriate location and room type for your circumstances. Allocation quotas for 2017/18 (PDF)
