Full time degree students may apply for a room on campus or at Trinity Hall for the following academic year during a four week period commencing early February.
Generally, undergraduates entering their final year and postgraduates reading for degrees by research will be prioritised for residential accommodation. In addition, a small number of first year students residing at Trinity Hall will be offered rooms for a second year at Trinity Hall.
Students studying part-time or diploma courses are not eligible for College accommodation.
The exact dates of this four week period are published in the College Calendar.
How to Apply
Current students who wish to apply for accommodation must make an online application.
If you have not already set up an account to apply for accommodation you must set-up the account before being able to log-in. Part of the account set up process involves clicking on a confirmation code that will be included in an email that will be sent to you.
Before making an application it is recommended that you do the following:
- Consider what is the most appropriate location and room type for your circumstances. ( Allocation quotas for 2017/18 )
- Visit the Accommodation web pages to find details of the types of rooms and facilities that are available and to see the rental rates that apply.
- If your application is on the basis of a significant medical disability or other similar special circumstance view the relevant information on these webpages.
The online application includes a personal statement. It is recommended that you write a few short paragraphs as a personal statement highlighting your talents and interests and outlining the contribution you will make to Trinity by living in residences.
