2017/18 Assessment dates

  • Supplemental Examinations 2018 - Saturday 18 August to Saturday 25 August 2018

There is no supplemental examination fee and no notice is required of intention to take a supplemental examination in the course for which students have registered.

  • Special Examinations 2018 - Monday 24 September to Friday 28 September 2018

Permission must be granted by the Senior Lecturer or Dean of Graduate Studies to sit a special examination. In all cases, a special examination fee is payable. Your Tutor will advise you of the current examination fee. The fee must be paid via the my.tcd.ie portal before sitting a special examinations.

2018/19 Assessment dates

  • Music Entrance Assessment 2019 - Saturday 30 March

Intending candidates should contact Applications and Admissions.

  • Matriculation Examinations 2019 - Wednesday 17 April

Subjects assessed are: Biblical Studies and Geology. Intending candidates should contact Applications and Admissions.

  • HPAT Assessment 2019- date to be confirmed.

Trinity College Dublin hosts the HPAT assessment on behalf of ACER.

  • Semester 1 Assessment 2019 - Monday 10 December - Saturday 15 December*

  • Foundation Scholarship Assessment 2019 - Monday 7 January to Friday 11 January 2019*

Notice is required of intention to sit Foundation Scholarship assessment. Candidates for the Foundation Scholarship assessment should submit an online application form to the Academic Registry in October 2018. It may be necessary to hold some Foundation Scholarship examinations in the preceding week.

  • Semester 2 Assessment 2019 -Tuesday 23 April - Friday 3 May*

  • Reassessment 2019 - Monday 26 August - Saturday 31 August*

*Timetables will be published on the portal my.tcd.ie at least four weeks prior to examinations taking place. No notice is required of intention to take an examination in the course for which students have registered. Further examination details (eg. practicals, orals, vivas etc.) may be obtained from your School, Discipline or Course Office.
