How to apply

Students interested in applying for one of the MSc programmes offered by the School of Natural Sciences should look at the individual entry requirements listed for each of the programmes.

The first step in the process of exploring the possibilities for PhD research in Zoology is to contact the member of staff whose research interests are most closely aligned with your own. It is normal for PhD students to have funding in place to cover fees and living expenses for the 3 to 4 years of the programme. Applications can be made at any time of the year, and the PhD programme can start in two dates each year, March or September.
