What to do if you think you have acted in a way that is nonconsensual towards someone else

If you think you may have assaulted or raped someone, you should seek supports from one of the services listed here. Remember that you will be told about any formal investigations before they begin.

If you think you have assaulted or raped someone you know, do not contact them to ask for clarificationIt’s important to remember that people have a right not to interact with others, and if someone chooses not to contact you, that is their choice. Its really important that you speak to a counsellor, or someone you trust and who is not connected in any way to the other party (or parties) about the situation.
