Supervised Sessions
Classes & Fitness
· Kettlebells –Helps develop explosive strength and muscular endurance.
· Boxfit - Stress-busting class designed to challenge your endurance, balance, power.
· Yoga – Tranquil atmosphere in this class that helps overall tone.
· Studio Cycle - Improve your aerobic fitness, power and body composition in this motivational class.
· Circuit Class- The studio is set up with various exercise stations, you'll move around each station and workout different muscle groups while improving your cardio and strength.
Social Sport
· Rookie Rowing – learn the correct technique on our indoor rowers with our Rowing. Development Officer.
· Gaelic Games – learn the skills of our national sports with our Gaelic Games Development Officer.
· Table Tennis – play on your own or in a group while taking part in the social league.
· Ultimate Frizbee – learn about the sport while having fun in our indoor hall.
· 3 v 3 Basketball – you’ll be put on a team to take part in the league; you just need to know the basics.
Local Activity
· Walk / run group – take this at your own pace either walking or jogging. Leaders will be there for each level to guide you through.
· Social Sport – Gaelic Games.
Unsupervised Sessions
· Get off the bus a few stops early
· Track you steps on your smart phone – try for 10,000 a day
· Walk to or from college
· Cycle to or from college
· Go for a walk, hike or run
· Take part in a fitness class that’s not on the ACE timetable
· Join a sports club
· Take up a new activity – tennis, climbing, swimming…
· Use the gym in your spare time
