Dublin University Boat Club (DUBC) is based primarily at the unique setting of Islandbridge Boathouse. If you are a talented rower and planning to study at third level, Trinity offers the expertise, environment and support you need to attain sporting achievements and academic prowess. DUBC, founded by the amalgamation of DU Boat Club and DU Rowing Club in 1898, has a long history of rowing success with Championship wins, Henley wins, World Champions and Olympians to its name. Rowing for DUBC offers the opportunity for intensive sculling training in the club’s sizeable fleet of small boats as well as the sweep rowing typical of University clubs. Senior DUBC rowers have the opportunity to race UCD in the prestigious annual Gannon Cup Colours race and represent the university at national and international competitions including Henley Royal Regatta.

Current honours within Trinity Rowing include:

  • Senior Men’s National VIII Champions
  • Senior Women’s National IV Champions
  • Overall Irish Universities Champions
  • Senior and Novice Colours Champions 2015
