Trinity Sport Centre was recently awarded an ‘outstanding facility’ National Quality Standard award for 2020 / 2021 by Ireland Active, the representative body for the Leisure, Health & Fitness Industry. This is the seventh consecutive year that Trinity Sport has received the ‘outstanding facility’ National Quality Standard Award by Active Ireland.

The standard is designed to encourage continuous improvement within the sector and recognises facilities for their remarkable standards in the areas of safety, hygiene, customer service and human resources. The NQSA are the only industry specific award for the leisure, health and fitness sector in Ireland.
Commenting on the award Head of Sport and Recreation at Trinity College Dublin, Michelle Tanner said: “Trinity Sport are delighted to have been awarded an 'outstanding facility' award, the highest category in the National Quality Award for leisure centres, by Ireland Active. This is the seventh consecutive year to receive the award at this level, a remarkable achievement given the level of operations which have risen in recent years and the challenges that we faced over the last year due to Covid-19.”
“The award is also a reflection of the commitment and support from other areas in college such as Estates and Facilities who help us deliver the highest standards. We are very proud to win this award and we wish to thank our customers and the wider Trinity College Dublin community for their continued support.” Trinity Sport would like to extend a huge thank you to our staff, instructors, duty managers and wider Trinity College Dublin community who has made it possible to achieve this ‘outstanding facility’ award for the Trinity Sport Centre.
