To all Trinity Sport clubs, members and visitors:
I hope you’re keeping safe and well during these challenging times,
As the first stage of the government’s plans to reopen society begins today, it is a good time to once again thank you for your continued support and patience over the past two months as we adjust to the Covid-19 pandemic. As you know the Government published its ‘Overview of Reopening Phases and Roadmap for Reopening Society and Business’ on 1 May.
Trinity Sport’s facilities and activities at Trinity Sport Centre, Trinity Sports Grounds (Santry), Iveagh Grounds, T-Tech Boxing, Trinity Boathouse and Trinity Hall sports facilities will remain closed in line with the Government’s and University’s strategy for reopening society and business. Trinity Sport clubs’ fixtures, activities and the hosting of club training will also remain cancelled.
For the last number of weeks, the team at Trinity Sport have been working hard to ensure that when we can reopen, we will do so with the very best health and safety systems in place. Our goal is to ensure that you will have the utmost of confidence working out and training in our sporting facilities and that we have created the safest possible fitness environment for you.
During this challenging time both your physical and mental are very important. To help maintain your health and fitness goals, the Trinity Sport team have created ‘Train Online with Trinity Sport’. Regarding your membership subscription, we will continue to freeze all monthly payments and extend annual memberships and locker rentals to reflect the closure period. Trinity Sport will continue to take guidance from the Government, the University and the HSE and will keep all our members up to date when the situation changes via the Trinity Sport website, email and our social media channels. We have also produced an FAQ document which can be found HERE .
We look forward to seeing you back in our sporting facilities again soon.
