Trinity Operation Transformation Kicks Off

Published: January 16th, 2020

This week sees the return of the Trinity Operation Transformation (TOT), which is our own version of the popular TV show where contestants attempt to acquire healthy new habits through fitness and nutrition. Trinity Operation Transformation runs from January 16th – February 26th and is part of the Healthy Trinity initiative. We recommend you get involved with some of your friends, classmates or colleagues but you can also take part as an individual.

As part of Trinity Operation Transformation, you will have access to free and discounted classes in the Sports Centre, a smoking cessation course, motivational sessions and open club sessions where you can try out a new sport. To celebrate your better health, Trinity Sport are hosting a campus 3K run at the end of Trinity Operation Transformation on Wednesday, 26th February.

TOTers’ choice classes even allow the participants to decide what activity they want to take part in for the following week’s class. If you’re into HIIT, Boot Camp or Total Body classes, you can have your say in deciding. These classes take place every Thursday in the Sport Centre from 12:15 – 1pm.
There is also a weekly social walk/run for staff and students, which takes place every Wednesday lunchtime. Take an invigorating stroll or jog around campus during your lunch break – just grab your runners and meet at the Pav steps at 1.05pm each week. It’s not competitive, it’s just for fun and socialising. You will have the opportunity to meet new people with the same goal of a healthier lifestyle and we all know it’s easier to keep your progress going when you have friends in the same situation. Don’t worry about going back into the office after working up a sweat because the showers in the Pavilion are available for use.

Trinity Operation Transformation officially launched this week, 15th January 2020. There is still time to get involved - check out the full list of TOT activities HERE and register for Trinity Operation Transformation by clicking HERE.
