It's Rowing Colours time again!

Published: March 1st, 2019

March is here which means Rowing Colours isn’t far behind. In just over one week’s time Trinity men’s and women’s rowing will go head to head on the River Liffey with their UCD counterparts in this annual showdown.

There are four races in all taking place next Saturday, March 9th, with times as follows:

  • Novice women (Sally Moorhead Cup) – 11.30am
  • Novice men (Dan Quinn Shield) – 12noon
  • Senior women (Corcoran Cup) – 12.30pm
  • Senior men (Gannon Cup) – 1pm

While spectators are encouraged to turn out and show their support no bikes are permitted to follow the course of the race, which begins at O’Connell Bridge and finishes at Victoria Quay.

We will be posting content in the run-up to the event as well as from the event itself so keep an eye on our social channels. Good luck to DUBC (men's rowing) and DULBC (women's rowing)!
