Trinity Sport gets involved in European Week of Sport

The European Week of Sport kicks off today from the 23rd – 30th September, the aim of the initiative is to get people off their sofas and #BeActive! Do not miss the opportunity to participate in the European week of sport this week as there are a wide range of activities taking place all over Trinity College Dublin including free classes at the Trinity Sport centre, ‘try a social sport’ and sports clubs ‘have a go’ sessions.

To conclude the European week of Sport, the ‘Trinity on the Move’ team of staff and students will be participating in the Great Dublin Bike Ride 2019 to raise funds for Trinity’s Postgraduate Student Hardship Fund. The Great Dublin Bike Ride 2019 will be taking place on Sunday, 29th September from Phoenix Park. The event offers a challenging 100km route for experienced riders and a 60km route for beginners looking for a slightly less strenuous day in the saddle. Thursday (National Fitness Day)
Spin cycle in the fitness studio – 7:10am
Zumba in the Anncillary Hall - 8am
HITT class at Fitfest at the Docklands with Garreth 6pm – 6:40pm

Friday:
Core Strength in the fitness studio 7:45am

Saturday:
Multi Fit in the fitness studio – 11:15am

Sunday:
Studio Cycling - 12:00pm
