Four in a row for Trinity Sport

Trinity Sport has once more won the highest accolade possible at this year’s White Flag National Standard awards, the annual ceremony for the leisure industry which was held in Lyrath Estate, Kilkenny.
It is the fourth consecutive year that Trinity Sport has been awarded the Gold award in recognition of its codes of excellence in the areas of safety, hygiene, customer engagement and human resources.
Conn McCluskey, CEO of Ireland Active, commented: “‘The White Flag National Quality Standards are all about maintaining and raising standards in the industry and I would like to congratulate Trinity College Sports Centre in achieving the Gold standard again this year.
“The award focuses on safety, hygiene, customer engagement and staff development and highlights the commitment that Trinity has to raising standards in the industry.”
Trinity Sport Operations Manager Jonathan Fitzpatrick added: “This award recognises the enthusiasm and commitment that the team strives for every day and puts us at the forefront of the sports and leisure sector.
“The award not only provides our users with an exceptional facility but also helps our team to provide the customer experience our users are looking for.”
Ireland Active’s members are made up of more than 250 leisure, health and fitness centres nationwide. The White Flags are awarded annually to facilities that meet a strict criteria of operating standards.
