This year Trinity Sport are delighted to bring you our Santry Summer Camp 2020, it will be a slightly different camp to previous years due to Covid-19 however it will be just as much fun. We pride ourselves in running a camp that facilitates the personal, emotional, and social growth of campers. Each day of camp provides children with the opportunity to learn new skills and have fun!
Key features of our multisport summer camps:
- Qualified coaches will lead in GAA and multisport activities
- Attendance is open to children aged 8 to 13 years
- Smaller groups of 8 - 10 children. Each group and coach will stay together for the week.
- Personal water bottles must be brought
- Regular hand washing adhered to
- Designated drop off and pick up points

Trinity Sport Summer Camp 2020 will operate from 10am - 1pm, Monday to Friday for four weeks (Tuesday to Friday after the August Bank Holiday weekend.)

Where are we located?
Please note Trinity Sport Summer Camps are located at Santry Sports Grounds Outdoor facilities this year. Santry Sports Grounds are Trinity Sport’s primary outdoor sports facility located on Santry Avenue, Dublin 9. The Sports Grounds have undergone significant developments and now boast modern, fit for purpose, state of the art facilities.
We recommend arriving at camp 5 minutes early. If you arrive early please wait in the car with your child until just before the beginning of sign in instead of congregating with other children and parents prior to the start of camp. Once you have signed your child in, you will be told what designated pitch number your child should be dropped off at.

What do we bring to camp?
• Water bottle (with a name label)
• Hand sanitiser
• Email confirmation of booking
• Change of clothes
• Waterproof clothing
• Suncream and sun hat
• Any personal medication
Please note this is an outdoor only camp so please check the forecast before camp each day and make sure your child has suitable rain gear and an umbrella. Temporary outdoor shelter area installed on the grass to provide some shelter in the case of a down pour. If bad weather persists throughout the day and you don't want your child to be outside please do come and pick them up from camp.
Covid-19 Health and Safety Protocols
Children will be divided into groups (pod) and meet their designated coach and group (pod) on the first morning that they will stay with their designated group (pod) for the week. Groups will be made up of 10 children per group.
Hand Hygiene and contact
Regular hand washing is encouraged, every hour groups will get a staggered 15 minute break to wash and sanitise their hands. All unnecessary physical contact will be discouraged, such as high fives, handshakes, fist bumps, or hugs. All equipment will be disinfected before and after use
As much as possible the contact element of sport will be avoided, the camps will focus on fitness and skills, which can allow maintenance of social distancing during practices. Distance will be created between children when explaining drills or the rules of the game. Trinity Sport Summer Camp will be fully operational in line with official HSE guidelines
Personal Protective Equipment
Trinity Sport are suppling Lunn the Lion kids face masks for all children on camp – however these are to reduce the amount of face contact and not medically approved PPE. Children can wear a face mask if they want but it is not required. All staff/volunteers will be issued gloves, masks, hand sanitiser and their own first aid supplies. Where physical distancing is not possible, cloth face coverings should be worn by coaches, parents and volunteers present. Face coverings are not intended to protect the wearer, but rather to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 from the person wearing the mask (who may not have any symptoms of disease).
Trinity Sport will keep a log of all children attending every session, with contact information for contact tracing purposes will be recorded to enable contact tracing, is required.
Please note due to Covid-19:
No person child, parent or guardian should attend an event if unwell or any members of their household are unwell with symptoms consistent with COVID-19. Supervisors will observe children for symptoms and will ask parents to declare that their children are symptom free.
