What do you need to bring?
• Packed lunch and drink.
• Sports gear, appropriate shoes for sports activities.
• Change of clothes.
• Rain jacket.
• Sun cream and a sun hat.
• Swimming gear; swim togs, swim hat (mandatory) and towel.
• Due to children attending camp with nut allergies we would ask that all parents adhere to our NO NUT POLICY. Please do not send anything containing nuts in children's lunch boxes.
• If your child requires any daily medications, please bring it in a bag clearly labeled with your child's name and an emergency contact number. The medications themselves should be labeled according to what they're for and when to take them. We ask that if your child is on regular mediation, has any allergies or medical conditions we need to be aware of, please contact us upon receiving this email.
We suggest labelling clothes so we can reunite them with their owners. We will have a lost and found property area every morning and afternoon so you can have a look there for any missing items. Anything left at the end of the camp will be kept for one month and will then be donated to charity. We do not accept responsibility for lost items.
What to expect, policies and procedures?
• Our camp offers a range of activities in our state-of-the-art facilities. These activities include swimming, rock-climbing, football, tennis, hockey, basketball, arts and crafts and specialized activities for older age groups. Our timetables are subject to change daily and timetables will be on display each morning at the sign-in desks.
• Sign in and out will take place on Level 3 of the Sports Centre in the Main hall (Grasshoppers, Sharks, Red Hawks and Warriors) and the Wellness studio (Bumblebees). Parents must sign their child in/out each day. If your child is over the age of 11, they may sign themselves out. However, a parent must be present on the first morning of camp to fill out a permission slip in the presence of one of our senior members of staff. Please be advised that strict pick-up times are in place. If for any reason you are delayed, please contact the Trinity Sport reception desk on the number: (01) 896 1812. Any collections made after 4:15pm will be charged a post-care fee of €12.50
• We have a strict policy regarding the use of mobile phones and taking pictures during camp hours. This policy will be enforced by our leaders. Any child repeatedly using their phone or found to be taking pictures will have their device confiscated. Confiscated phones will be available to collect at the end of the camp day by a parent or guardian. Our no photos policy extends to parents and guardians. We ask that parents and guardians refrain from taking pictures of their children while partaking in camp activities as this infringes on GDPR. If you would like to take a photograph of your child at camp, please first ask the permission of a senior leader and do so in an area where no other campers will be in the frame.
• We at Trinity Sport try to accommodate any additional needs. In order to do so we ask parents to disclose any relevant additional needs/medical conditions your child may have to a senior leader/coordinator. We cannot facilitate 1:1 care of any child. Our groups are staffed in ratios which comply with the Child Protection Act of 2018.
• We have a strict Anti-bullying policy in place across Trinity Sport. We strive to provide a safe environment for everyone on camp to have fun. We do reserve the right to prematurely end a child's camp experience due to repeated instances of poor behavior, without refund.
