Withdrawals from College

If a student wishes to withdraw from College, it is important to try and find out the reasons for withdrawal. They then have to complete a withdrawal form that you send  to the Senior Lecturer. There are two important dates here:

31st October for JF students

Incoming JF Students who withdraw before this date do not lose any entitlement to free fees. In other words, they can repeat the same year without paying fees. They will also receive a refund of all monies paid to College, minus an administration fee.

31st January

Students who withdraw before this date will only have to pay half of the tuition fees when they return to College or to another third-level institution. They cannot reclaim the first instalment of their Student Contribution or the Sports Centre charge.  However, if they have paid the Student Contribution in full, they will receive a refund of the second instalment. If they have not paid the second instalment, they are not liable to pay it.

Students who withdraw after the 31st of January lose all their Student |Contribution and will be liable for full tuition fees when they return to College or to another third-level institution.
