Students taking European Studies in Russian spend their third year at the Gorky Literary Institute in Moscow. The Gorky Literary Institute is located in central Moscow. It was established in 1933. Its primary function is to provide higher education to future creative writers and translators of literary texts. The Department of Russian and Slavonic Studies has been sending Two Subject Moderatorship (TSM) and European Studies (ES) students on semester- and year-long study programmes there since the early 1990s. It is also one of the places we recommend to students who are looking for a summer course destination.
