This will introduce students to core programming concepts, data management and visualisation. Students will become familiar with the R programming language, which is a state-of-the-art tool for statistical analysis.
This course places significant emphasis on machine learning (ML) applications. Students will learn how to apply common machine learning tools to answer social science questions.
