Dr Frank Bello (He/Him)

Senior Research Fellow, Quantum Nanophotonics group, Trinity College Dublin
Education and Public Engagement (EPE) Ambassador, CRANN Institute

Research is focused on low dimensional photonic and plasmonic devices with applications toward quantum information processing, solar harvesting, and environmental sensing. Many of these projects involve strong collaborations with experimental groups and industry partners which undertake numerical modelling along with data analysis to solve multiscale problems.

Research Interests:
● Nanomaterials & Quantum Optics
● Sustainable energy harvesting, conversion, and storage
● 2D materials & Interfaces
