Ramesh Neppalli was born in India and he has obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics and Zoology as main subjects and Master’s degree in Polymer Science & Technology from Sri Krishnadevaraya University Anantapur. After graduation, he moved to National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pune, India about for one year as a Project fellow. In 2009, he started his PhD from Department of Chemical Sciences, University of Padova, Italy and successfully obtained his doctorate in March 2012. After his PhD, Ramesh Neppalli moved to Stellenbosch University, South Africa for his postdoctoral research experience. While working at Stellenbosch University, he won the prestigious Leibniz-DAAD postdoctoral fellowship from DAAD, Germany, thus moved to Leibniz Institute for Polymer Research, Dresden. He joined CRANN/School of Physics, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland in July 2015. Since then he is working as a staff postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Ramesh Babu’s research group.
