Buckling Necklace
The goldsmith Tom Stemmer crafted a necklace featuring a buckled chain of spheres, the system studied in detail in the group's current work (see below Mughal et al. 2021, Hutzler et al. 2020, Weaire et al. 2020). Award for Kym Cox
Kym Cox's photograph of the Life Cycle of Soap Bubble Iridescence has been names the winner of the Man-Made category of the Close-up Photographer of the Year 2020 (Cupoty 02) competition. The photos were taken as part of an Art+Science collaboration with Prof. Stefan Hutzler.
