CFA: Workshop in Honour of Peter Simons

This workshop will honour the career and work of Peter Simons, recently retired from the Chair of Moral Philosophy (1837) at Trinity College Dublin. In his career, Peter has published 4 books, and over 250 articles and book chapters, as well as numerous book reviews and other pieces of writing. Peter’s research interest are truly eclectic, encompassing metaphysics and ontology (both pure and applied), philosophical logic, philosophy of science, and the history of philosophy and logic.

We invite submissions of 500 word abstracts on any topic related to Peter’s work from early-career academics (within 5 years of granting of PhD).
Submissions should be prepared for blind review, and submitted to James Miller (jamiller@tcd.ie) by 7th April. Selected speakers’ travel (up to the cost of flights within Europe) and accommodation costs will be covered.
