Department Welcomes New Associate Professor Adina PredaDr Preda, who joins Trinity from the University of Limerick, has research interests in the theories of rights, distributive justice, global justice, and justice in health. She was recently awarded a €1.3 million ERC Consolidator grant to lead the REAL – ‘Rights and Egalitarianism’ - research project.

William Lyons Prize in PhilosophyThe inaugural William Lyons Prize in Philosophy was awarded to Ruairi Maguire for his MPhil. Ruairi has been awarded a scholarship to Oxford University to do a DPhil in political philosophy. 66% of the MPhil class went on to fully funded PhD studies.
