Are you considering applying to university for a law degree?
- Would you like more information about law and what it is like to study law at university?
- Attend seminars and lectures and learn about modules such as eg. torts, constitutional Law, criminal law, land law, equality law, family law, evidence and many more.
- Chat to students and staff during the lunch break (provided).
- Between 11:00 am and 12:00 noon, parents, guardians and teachers are invited to attend an information session about studying Law at Trinity College Dublin.
- The Law School, Trinity College Dublin’s Annual Open Day on Saturday, 17th October 2015 from 11:00 - 4 pm is open to fifth and sixth year students interested in undertaking a degree in Law at third level.
- Prospective mature student applicants are also welcome.
Programme
| 10:30 - 11:00 | Registration At registration students will be placed into seminar groups and assigned student mentors, all current law students, to look after them for the day. Students will receive individual timetables indicating which modules they will attending class in. |

* Between 11:00 am and 12:00 noon, there will be a parallel question-and-answer session for parents, guardians and teachers about studying law at third level.
All sessions will take place in the Arts Building, Trinity College Dublin.
How to pre-register:
Places are limited and due to the participatory nature of the programme it is necessary to pre-register. Places will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure a fair and equitable spread of representation of schools from each of the 32 counties, it may be necessary to limit the number of places per school. Early booking is advisable.
