MEXICAN LECTURE

In 2002 the Mexican Embassy in Dublin and Trinity College, supported by the sponsorship of Smurfit Kappa, established an annual Mexican Lecture, to be delivered by a distinguished intellectual.

Its first incumbent was the celebrated Mexican novelist, Carlos Fuentes. In succeeding years, the Lecturer has come from a host of disciplines, including political science, history, and literary culture.
