ESRL – Working from home

Despite the disruption caused by the Covid-19 lockdown, we at the ESRL are striving to carry on our work from home. Though we have had to put a pause on physical lab work within the ESRL itself, there is still much work to be done from home.
Work continues updating, reviewing and developing various documentation for use within the ESRL. These include items such as: Operating Instructions for all the analytical instruments and equipment; Standard Operating Procedures for the various analytical produces we carry out; and Safety Procedures within the laboratory, to name but a few.
Another key area of work for us in the ESRL during the lockdown is the development and review of our Quality Manual System (QMS) and other related documentation. These documents are crucial as we work towards gaining ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 accreditation.
