Global development is currently in transformation as a result of processes such as financialisation, informationalisation, informalisation, normative divergence, and complex diversity.
How these processes are politically constructed and play out geographically and recursively is a key concern of the Geographies and Politics of Development Research Group.

Susan Murphy is a lecturer in Development Practice with the School of Natural Sciences, Trinity College Dublin and the Course Coordinator for the Trinity College Dublin Masters in Development Practice (MDP).
Dr Padraig Carmody

Pádraig Carmody lectures in Development Geography at TCD, from which he holds both a B.A. in Geography and History and M.Sc in Geography.
