The School of Engineering currently runs five taught Masters programmes and these courses graduate, in total, approximately 50 students per year.
As part of the activities of the Graduate School of Engineering, a number of Postgraduate Diploma courses are run every year with a total annual throughput of over 200 students. These are an important part of the School activities as Continued Professional Development (CPD) represents a significant aspect of training for engineers.
The School also runs the PRTLI-funded Graduate Research Education Programme in Engineering, commonly referred to as the GREP Eng. This structured PhD programme is offered by Trinity College in partnership with University College Dublin, University College Cork and Dublin Institute of Technology whereby 16 studentships in Engineering (10 in Bioengineering/Medical Devices and 6 in Energy) are funded by the PRTLI.
In addition, the School runs continuing education programmes through the traditional MAI programme.
