Formula Trinity team finish 2nd in International Formula Student Competition
Team Formula Trinity, a student led initiative, recently competed in the Formula Student Competition at Silverstone Racetrack in the UK where they finished second in Class II. This was a major achievement in this prestigious international competition run by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers where design, manufacturing, cost analysis and a business case presentation are all taken into consideration in the scoring system. It is only the second year Formula Trinity have competed in the event and the team which comprised of students from all years in the School of Engineering and a student from the School of Business would like to thank their sponsors and all those who assisted them in their preparations. The team plans to build their designed car in time for the 2020 competition where they will compete in the Class I category.
