International Education Scholarship
The Government of Ireland International Scholarships (GOI-IES) was awarded to PhD candidate, Evgenia Likhovtseva. Evgenia is undergoing her PhD studies in the School of Education under the supervision of Dr Aidan Seery. The scheme is operated in the higher education sector and funded in partnership between the Government and the higher education institutions (HEIs). The scholarship is awarded to high calibre students from non-EEA countries to study in Ireland for a period of one year.
The Scholarships are open to students from outside the EU/EEA and provide an individual stipend of €10,000 and full fee waiver to 60 beneficiaries for one full year study on a Bachelor, Master or PhD programme. The scheme has been running since 2012. To be eligible to apply, students must first of all have an offer of a place in an Irish higher education institution.
