Dr. Luca Colombo

Luca Colombo is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for International Integration Studies (IIIS), Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, and a Research Fellow at the Dept. of Economics of the University of Bologna, Italy. He holds a Laurea in Economics Summa cum laude from the University of Bologna, a MPhil in Economic Theory and Econometrics from the University of Toulouse, France and a PhD in Economics, completed in 2003, with a thesis entitled 'Product Differentiation and Advertising in Dynamic Models: The Scope for Antitrust and Regulation', supervised by Prof. Luca Lambertini, University of Bologna. His research interests center on industrial organization, public economics and international trade. Currently, he is involved in two research projects, the first, on trade, industrialization and development and the second, on applications of dynamic games to the study of market evolution and performance.
