Bio

Dr Ole Boysen is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Institute for International Integration Studies. He is working on the analysis of poverty and income distribution impacts of trade reforms, world price shocks, and biofuels production in Uganda within the EU FP7-fundet project AgFoodTrade: "New Issues in Agricultural, Food and Bioenergy Trade". His research interests are broadly in the areas of policy-relevant analysis in microeconomics, development, resource & environmental economics, and the use of simulation methods in economics.

He holds the degrees PhD in Economics from Trinity College Dublin, MSc in Management Science and Information Systems from Pennsylvania State University, and Diplom-Kaufmann from University of Kiel.
