Media relations
The media relations team handles interaction with the media for the university. Our work involves:
- Promoting the university's research, teaching and achievements to the national and international media
- Supporting staff in effective media engagement
- Helping journalists find academic experts to comment on their fields of expertise
- Handling media interest in university issues, including policy, strategy, finances, research, teaching, admissions and major building developments
- Ensuring the reputation of the university in media engagement
- Producing short video and/or audio clips where appropriate to support media and social media engagement
