Web policies

In line with the experience world-wide, Trinity's web pages are being increasingly used as a source of information on all Trinity activities by the internal community and external groups and individuals. The web is also used as a teaching tool in a broad number of areas and as an integral part of many courses students are taught how to create and maintain web pages. Given the reliance which is now placed on web pages as the first source of information about Trinity, it is important that information published on Trinity web should be of a high standard and reflect well on Trinity community.

The administration and development of Trinity web site is the responsibility of the Secretary to Trinity under whose auspices the Trinity's Web Management Committee operates. The primary function of this Committee is to assist Faculties and Schools establish and maintain a high quality profile on the web and to develop policies for access to, and placing information on, Trinity website for both internal and external users with specific emphasis on compliance with current legislation.
