Trinity College Dublin and Brexit

The proposed separation between the United Kingdom and the rest of the European Union in 2020 will have far reaching consequences but it is impossible to say exactly what will happen until negotiations are complete. This website wishes to inform students, potential students, staff and others about what Brexit may mean for them and Trinity College Dublin, but all information about Brexit is subject to change as the governments and European Commission negotiations continue. The following information is therefore intended as guidance only and is subject to change.

Update 13 January: The European Commission has informed National Erasmus Agencies that mobility from and to the United Kingdom that have begun before the United Kingdom leaves the EU on 31 January 2020 can continue. This applies both to students that have travelled to the UK as well as to UK students in other countries.
