Blackboard Community Engagement
Blackboards Community Engagement enables a school to build and tailor their own Blackboard Learn experience for their staff and students. Community Engagement provides schools with the option to manage their modules and customised homepage within Blackboard to provide students with school-specific branding, news, support, information and alerts.
It allows the educational experience to extend beyond the course, module and classroom. A school can target information for its members by staff or student status or by year of study, Undergraduate or Postgraduate or a combination of any of these roles. Schools can also have a designated school administrator who can enrol themselves in modules to check content for their students. Therefore a school's experience can be tailored to meet their specific needs.
We have four pilot schools using Community Engagement different degrees, the School of Medicine, The Dental School and the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
