In May 2009 an EU conference titled "10 Years of EU activities in ‘Women and Science’, and Beyond" was held in Prague to look back at the policy developments and assess best practice since the EU Action Plan on Women in Science was launched 10 years ago in 1999.
This section of the website gathers together some of the notable policy developments, research published, and statistical data gathered since the under-representation of women in science first became a policy focus in Ireland, Europe, and further afield.
