Rosie works in the RCUK Research Careers and Diversity Team, which is responsible for coordinating relevant aspects of postgraduate training, research careers and diversity across the Research Councils, and providing a focus for engagement with partner organisations such as the Department of Business Innovation and Skills (BIS), Funding Councils, and the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA). Rosie was a member of the Expert Group on Women in Research Decision Making (WIRDEM) which produced the report “Mapping the Maze”, and has as one of her current responsibilities the coordination of the Research Councils engagement in the implementation of the new Concordat to Support the Career Management of Researchers which aligns the UK with the European Charter and Code.
