Visiting Professorships and Fellowships Benefaction Fund
The Visiting Professorships and Fellowships Benefaction Fund is disbursed annually by the Faculty Deans. Applications are usually invited in Michaelmas Term of each academic year and the closing date for applications is advised annually through the College Listings and on the Web Notice Board. Grants are intended to assist in financing the cost of research visits to College by academics from other institutions.
On completion of a grant-aided visit a short report is submitted to the Academic Secretary for consideration by the Faculty Deans. The Faculty Deans requests that where the award is to fund a lecture, it should be advertised as widely as possible within College. Applications to the Visiting Professorships and Fellowships Benefactions Fund should be made using the form Visiting Professorships and Fellowships Benefactions Fund - Application for Grant, which includes further information on making an application. The form can be downloaded in word format. This form is updated annually and only the current year's form should be used to make an application.
