Return of Results to Examinations Office

All school, discipline and course offices responsible for the publication of examination results are required to return to the Examinations Office the master copy of results in the following formats for all sets of examination results for which they are responsible:

  • The master copy recording the full name, student identification number, tutor number, overall result, and comment where applicable, for each candidate, as well as the course title, year of course, examination session (whether annual or supplemental), the term and year, and the date of publication. All master sheets must be signed by the Chair of the relevant Court of Examiners and, in the case of degree examinations, by the external examiner(s). These master sheets are bound into a ledger and constitute the formal record of examination results in a particular academic year.
  • An anonymous copy recording the student identification number, tutor number, overall result, and comment where applicable, for each candidate, as well as the course title, year of course, examination session (whether annual or supplemental), the term and year, and the date of publication. All anonymous sheets must be signed by the Chair of the relevant Court of Examiners and, in the case of degree examinations, by the external examiner(s). These anonymously published results sheets will be transferred to the College's local webpages.

See Procedures for the Submission of Examination Results (PDF) for further information.
