New Undergraduate Course Proposals

Schools wishing to establish new undergraduate programmes are required to complete the template for Proposals for New Undergraduate Courses (MS Word) and to submit it to the Senior Lecturer (senior.lecturer@tcd.ie), copying it to the Academic Secretary (academic.secretary@tcd.ie), for consideration at the Undergraduate Studies Committee (USC).

Prior to submission to the Senior Lecturer, the School(s) must seek approval from their Faculty Dean(s), providing the Faculty Financial Advisor(s) with the required financial data. Full details of the development and submission process is found here (MS Word)

Meetings of the USC normally occur twice each term and Schools are asked to submit their final proposal documents at least two weeks ahead of the relevant meeting. The schedule of meetings is found here.
