TRiSS hosted a guest lecture by Rory Montgomery on the Challenges facing Europe on 2nd October. Rory is Second Secretary General in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade with key responsibility for EU-UK negotiations. His lecture covered a broad range of challenges facing Europe including Brexit, Migration, Budgets and Security. His first-hand experience representing Ireland in some of the most challenging negotiations of our times was enlightening and thought-provoking.
