A public lecture presented by Anjan Chatterjee, Professor and Chair of Neurology, Pennsylvania Hospital, on the Beauty in the Brain as Part of the Neurohumanities lecture series 2017 - 2018.

Dr. Chatterjee’s Areas of Interest:

  • Cognitive processes underlying figurative & spatial language, event representation, aesthetics, and neuroethics
  • Differences in processing of patients with brain injury compared with healthy adults
  • Author: - The Aesthetic Brain: How we evolved to desire beauty and enjoy art
  • Co-editor: - Neuroethics in Practice: Mind, medicine, and society
  • The Roots of Cognitive Neuroscience: behavioral neurology and neuropsychology
