The 2017 Annual Stephen McKenna lecture by Professor Alexandrine Schniewind (University of Lausanne), organised by the Department of philosophy. 

The Annual Stephen Mc Kenna lecture:

Each year the Trinity Plato Centre at Trinity College Dublin organises and hosts the Stephen MacKenna Lecture. Named in honour of the great Irish translator of Plotinus, this lecture series is designed to bring distinguished contemporary scholars working in the area of Plato and the Platonic tradition to Dublin to deliver a lecture aimed at a wide and general audience.
