The Constellations Series: Creative Arts Practice Research in Context | 2016-17
Over the course of the 2016-17 academic year, Trinity’s Creative Arts Practice Research Theme is pleased to partner with the Trinity Long Room Hub to offer The Constellations Series, a new programme of public events exploring the entanglement of creativity, artistic practice, and research. The series will feature artist-researchers, particularly those who cross disciplinary boundaries, presenting their work and discussing their creative process.
Medical Humanities Research Seminar Series | 2014-17
The new Medical Humanities Reserach Seminar Series is the result of a collaborative effort between the School of Medicine, Trinity College Dublin, and the Trinity Long Room Hub Arts and Humanities Research Institute. This new series will consist of one-hour public events taking place over the academic year. Each lecture will touch on an aspect of Medical Humanities from the perspective of a different discipline. These events offer the opportunity to see medicine through the eyes of academics who are concerned with literary, historical, philosophical, aesthetic and technological perspectives of health, illness, disability and practice.
The Centre for Early Modern History, School of Histories and Humanities, promotes understanding of the culture, society, economy, religion, politics and warfare of early modern Europe. The Centre organises seminars, conferences and public lectures on the early modern history of Ireland, Britain and Continental Europe, as well as on relations between European and non-European states and cultures. The Centre's Research Seminars are held every Monday at 4pm in the Trinity Long Room Hub.
The Centre for Contemporary Irish History Research Seminar Series
The Centre for Contemporary Irish History , School of History and Humanities, promotes research in recent Irish history. This Seminar Series is intended to act as a forum where those engaged in research in Contemporary Irish History can discuss their work with likeminded people . This seminar is open to all with relevant interests inside and outside TCD. The Centre's Research Seminars take place every Wednesday at 4pm in the Trinity Long Room Hub.
