Research Opportunities
The first wave of data from the project is now available for request via the Irish Social Sciences Data Archive (ISSDA), based at the UCD Geary Institute. Access to the anonymised data set will be granted to bona fide research projects only. The initial release will consist of data from the CAPI and SCQ (self-completion questionnaire) administered surveys. Health data will follow in a subsequent release.
To access the Anonymised Microdata File (AMF) for Wave 1, please visit the ISSDA website
If you are interested in working with TILDA data, please see the Design Report which outlines TILDA’s key investigation areas and methodology choices, and how these compare to other international longitudinal studies on ageing.

International Comparisons and Harmonization
We highly recommend the resource <https://mmicdata.rand.org/megadata> that facilitates the use and harmonization of the different datasets emanating from the Health and Retirement Study (USA) and sister studies of ageing in other countries, such as TILDA. This resource has been developed with support of the National Institute on Aging<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Institute_on_Aging>, National Institutes of Health.
