Funders
The three main funders of TILDA are:
The Department of Health and Children
The Department of Health and Children's statutory role is to support the Minister in the formulation and evaluation of policies for the health services. It also has a role in the strategic planning of health services. This is carried out in conjunction with the Health Service Executive, voluntary service providers, Government Departments and other interested parties.
The Atlantic Philanthropies
The Atlantic Philanthropies are dedicated to bringing about lasting change in the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable people all over the world. Through their Ageing Programme, they aim to help transform how ageing is viewed within society and improve the way older persons are treated by society.
Irish Life
Irish Life and Permanent plc are a leading provider of financial services in the Irish Market. They are funding the TILDA project as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility Programme.
