Cliona joined Trinity in April 1999, and commenced her role as Director of the Trinity Access Programmes (TAP) in July 2000, a role which involves the development and implementation of strategic priorities relating to widening participation in higher education in Trinity. She is currently co-director of the Trinity Access 21, a Google-funded project focused on technology-mediated educational innovation and the creation of strong college-going cultures. Cliona is also a visiting fellow and course director of the Foundation Year for low income students in Lady Margaret Hall at Oxford University.
